Do you want to make a difference for your mob? Community development workers help with programs for public social change. Learn about issues that specifically impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and community development.

Diploma of Community Development

Learn about economic development, self-determination, the politics of Aboriginal development and community planning. Get a better understanding of Indigenous community organisations, as well as mainstream organisations servicing Indigenous communities.

Study practical governance skills, including the roles and responsibilities of board members, strategic planning, protecting culture, working with management, finances, policy development and community leadership for day-to-day management and governance.
