Cost

As Tranby is a not-for-profit organisation, you can take pride in the fact that all proceeds generated from venue hire go right back into funding learning resources for our students and maintaining our beautiful campus.

All room hire is $500 for a full day hire.

We offer 20% off for other not-for-profit organisations and small discounts for multiple days.

Venue Hire FAQ’s

Booking Terms & Conditions

Any booking you make for room hire at Tranby National Indigenous Adult Education and Training (‘Tranby’) is subject to these terms and conditions. In making a booking, you agree to act in accordance with and subject to the terms below.


Deposit

1.    A deposit must be paid to Tranby at the time of booking any room. A staff member will be in touch with you to confirm your booking and to issue an invoice for the deposit amount.

1.1.  For bookings of 1-3 days, the required deposit is 50% of one full day hire rate for the particular room booked.

1.2.  For bookings of more than 3 days, a deposit of 150% of one full day hire rate for the particular room booked.


Payment

2.     Invoices will be issued for the deposit and final payment.

3.     Payment is through direct deposit into Tranby’s bank account.

4.     Full payment of venue hire is to be paid after your event is complete. You will be sent a final invoice after the date of the booking.


Cancellations

5.     Please inform us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your booking.

5.1.  Cancellations made up to 48 hours prior to the agreed first day of hire will result in a full refund of the deposit.

5.1.1.     If a deposit is to be refunded, it is your responsibility to provide Tranby with the required bank or credit card details.

5.2.  Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the agreed first day of hire will forfeit the deposit.


IT Services

Bookings include access to IT services if requested at the time of booking. Available services include:

  • Data projector and screen
  • White Board
  •  Laptop with internet access
  • Wi-Fi access

Note: If you will be utilising your own laptop, please specify at the time of booking whether you will be requiring an Apple Mac VGA connector for the data projector.


Catering

Tranby does not provide catering, but is happy to assist you in recommending your external caterers.

Assistance

Our friendly staff will be on hand to assist with set up of Tranby equipment from 8.30am on the day of your booking.  As we are a small team however and are often also assisting students around campus and on the phones please consider this when asking staff for additional requests.  We will try and accommodate all requests as much as possible, but sometimes we may need a little time to go that extra mile.
